I never write reviews, but I feel one is well deserved! First off, I am a self admitted perfectionist with OCD and an extremely high expectation for quality. I grew up in the trades and have a very hard time paying someone to do any type of renovation project or work I can do myself equally as good or better than the industry standard. However, installing and refinishing my wood flooring was not a job I was confident in tackling on my own home as I would see it (and any of my mistakes) everyday.
I received several quotes from various flooring companies, and decided to go with Flawless Flooring. Boy am I glad I did. Every part of the process went smoothly and there customer service is second to none. I will not only recommend Flawless Flooring to everyone in need of flooring work, but I’m only using their company moving forward with any of my flooring needs.
Deena, the receptionist, was a joy to deal with on the phone, as well as connect me to the correct staff member with any follow-up questions. Dave, their estimator and crew manager, was clearly experienced in the wood flooring profession (he has over 20 years of installing knowledge). He provided a detailed explanation to all concerns I had after conducting my own research with various products and applications. He also made sure all my expectations were met once the job began. Dave even sent a different team member out to the job from the warehouse just to deliver a new tub of putty because the crew ran out, and they wanted to fill more cracks in the part of my existing floor I decided to keep. Justin, the quote and contract provider, made several updates (in real time) to the contract in order to ensure all my requests were documented. Some examples were adding small transition pieces to the exterior door thresholds, and doing finger joints to blend into the old flooring I was keeping (which was not part of the original plan). He also let me remove my existing stair runner carpet, tear up part of the existing hardwood floor that was getting replaced, and purchase the new wood on my own. These were items some of the other companies would not allow as it ate into their bottom line. Once the job began, Beto and his crew were on time everyday, and worked extremely hard. They asked my opinion on how I wanted the above mentioned transition pieces installed, and fulfilled my every request. They went above and beyond my already high expectations, and my floors looked amazing as just bare wood prior to the finishing processing. They spent four days installing, fixing, refinishing, and staining my roughly 800 square feet of flooring and one stairwell. The fifth day was spent on the finish coat. A whole week for what I considered a relatively small job can only be described as quality and pride in craftsmanship!

The staff was very knowledgeable on the different wood types, and helped explain how each would affect the look of the room or adapt overtime. Zack and Keith did an excellent job installing the product. They were friendly, professional and responsive throughout the project. Cleanup after the job was complete and they moved the appliances as needed.
