flooring contractors for schools
If you’re looking for top-quality flooring for your school or other commercial property, you’ve come to the right place. All of our products are incredibly durable, easy to clean and come in a variety of colors and designs to help make your school’s spaces more inviting and engaging. Our selection of hardwood flooring is extremely versatile and can be used for classrooms, hallways, gyms, bathrooms and more. The top priority of every school is safety, and our products meet those demands at every turn.
Commercial Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) Flooring
LVT is a popular choice for commercial settings. In addition to its durability and ease of cleaning, LVT is waterproof and can be configured to provide some cushioning to reduce the impact of falls on its surface. These qualities make LVT great for classrooms, bathrooms, and cafeterias. In the past, the material used for the majority of school flooring was vinyl composition tile (VCT), which required constant maintenance and didn’t have a long lifespan. LVT is an upgrade to VCT in almost every aspect. It is more durable, easier to clean, and lasts longer – all for only a slight increase in price.
LVT is very easy to install and replace. If the flooring ever gets damaged, individual tiles can be replaced instead of the entire floor. The ease of replacement allows for creativity in design options – LVT is highly customizable through a wide selection of colors and patterns to provide each room with a unique look and feel. LVT is also eco-friendly since it is made from recycled materials. Its remarkable durability means that it doesn’t have to be replaced for a long time.
Commercial Solid Hardwood Flooring
For gymnasiums and other high-activity spaces, our solid hardwood floors are more than enough to get the job done. Our selection of solid wood materials are able to withstand the intensity of sports events and heavy equipment and can be sanded down or refinished to clear out scratches or dents. Refinishing is only required every 7-10 years while the solid wood flooring itself can last over 40 years. Individual boards can also be repaired so the entire floor doesn’t have to be replaced.
Solid hardwood is hypo-allergenic, which means that it doesn’t harbor any allergens or dirt. It is extremely easy to clean and can go for several years before needing any maintenance, which is great for those who suffer from airborne allergies. All of our solid hardwood products also arrive to your school fully stained and finished. There is no need for concern about any strong, lingering smells or the risk of coming into contact with harmful chemicals.
Commercial Engineered Wood Flooring
A great alternative to solid hardwood is engineered wood. Engineered wood is still real wood, extremely durable, and only a fraction of the cost. It also comes in a variety of textures and colors, allowing you to spruce up the building’s high-activity spaces. Engineered wood is also just as easy to clean as solid hardwood and requires even less refurbishing.
Engineered wood is an incredibly eco-friendly option. It uses 25% less wood than solid wood planks and consumes less fossil fuels when manufactured. The reduced resource cost of engineered wood makes it more affordable than solid hardwood and lasts almost as long before needing to be replaced.
